On Saturday November 7 2015, in the build-up to the launch of Blue Days, the Niamey Bluezone visited students in five private higher education establishments in Niamey: IFAM, ETEC, ECCAM, ESIE and IAT. The goal was to tell young people attending secondary and higher education in Niger all about the facilities offered by Bolloré Group in its Bluezones.
The students learned all about the IT room with dozens of self-service computers connected to the Internet, a multi-purpose room capable of hosting film screenings and live shows, a dispensary, sports areas, business incubator and other facilities made available free of charge to young people by Bolloré Group. The schools offered the Bluezone missions an enthusiastic welcome and were delighted in turn to accept the invitation to visit the facility.
On Saturday at 3:00 p.m. nearly a thousand students converged on the Niamey Bluezone to take part in the launch of Blue Days in a fun and festive atmosphere, with a programme including a film, a maracana competition, modern dance demonstrations and a concert.
The activities partly took place as night fell and were made possible by the energy from Bolloré Group’s LMP (Lithium Metal Polymer) batteries connected to solar panels.
