Project Blueline Niger: A Successful Structural Engineering Know-How Transfer

As part of the construction of the railroad, seven bridges were built along the Niamey-Dosso rail axis.

It took approximately 180 days to build these important structures, of which the smallest has a span of 17.40 m and a height of 2.20 m while the longest has a span of 51.60 m and a height of 4 m. To complete this huge undertaking, 175 men were mobilized daily.

Built by Nigerien companies for the most part, these structures have allowed local companies to enjoy a know-how transfer from the Bolloré Group, which helped introduce their employees to professions that were previously unknown to them.
